This research explores the dynamics of education in faith in a reflection that is made from working with children and young people in a confessionally Catholic educational institution. It is a priority to dedicate a space of self-reflection to this area of formation, bearing in mind the challenges and challenges faced by religious education, not only in society, but in school, bearing in mind the political, economic and social changes that invite human beings to prepare for life in an environment hostile in many cases to witness, globalizing and cultural realities to which students and their families are exposed. This research was carried out with a hermeneutic phenomenological approach, in order to analyze the challenges and challenges faced by religious school education and, the contribution made by the Franciscan pedagogical proposal to religious formation. The context where this research was developed was, the Franciscan College of Viceroy Solís Bogotá, a space of encounter and dialogue was generated with: religious, managers, teachers, parents of the fifth and tenth grades, students of tenth and eleven degrees and, some interviews were conducted with experts on the subject.
