abstract = {La Torre de David es un guion para largometraje que trata la historia de cuatro individuos en un rascacielos de Caracas, abandonado y ocupado ilegalmente por las personas más pobres de la ciudad. Por medio de una historia coral, se interpretará dramáticamente la realidad de la torre y, en consecuencia, de Venezuela: pobreza, violencia y frustración. La torre no es solo un lugar interesante para contar una historia, se puede dramatizar como un reflejo de Venezuela y sus problemas, interpretación que será la tesis de este trabajo de grado. Líderes criminales, violencia sistemática y el ojo ciego del gobierno confluyen en este rascacielos, que fue la ocupación ilegal más alta del mundo en su momento, con 180 metros de altura de personas tratando de sobrevivir. El objetivo del proyecto es mostrar de una forma creativa una interpretación narrativa de Venezuela, utilizando una locación de la vida real, la Torre de David.},
abstract = {La Torre de David is a script for a feature film that deals with the story of four individuals in a
skyscraper in Caracas, abandoned and illegally occupied by the poorest people in the city.
Through a choral story, the reality of the tower and, consequently, of Venezuela, will be
dramatically interpreted: poverty, violence and frustration.
The tower is not only an interesting place to tell a story, it can be dramatized as a reflection of
Venezuela and its problems, an interpretation that will be the thesis of this degree project.
Criminal leaders, systematic violence and the government's blind eye converge on this
skyscraper, which was the tallest illegal occupation in the world at the time, where people are
trying to survive.
The objective of this project is to creatively show a narrative interpretation of Venezuela, using a
