dc.description.abstractIntroducción: La educación como parte fundamental dentro del plan de cuidados parece tener relevancia a la hora de reducir complicaciones, al proporcionar información y permitir al paciente autogestionar su cuidado. El profesional de enfermería como principal proveedor del cuidado, tiene el desafío de crear herramientas innovadoras que se adecuen a las necesidades particulares de cada paciente y que faciliten la comprensión de contenidos necesarios para obtener los resultados esperados en la atención quirúrgica. Objetivo: Describir las intervenciones educativas usadas como parte de los cuidados perioperatorios, que podrían ser aplicadas por los profesionales de enfermería. Metodología: Revisión integrativa de la literatura durante los años 2015-2020, según los lineamientos de Ganong. Se utilizaron las palabras clave DeCS en inglés “Patients”, “Perioperative Nursing”, “Education”. Se consultaron 10 bases de datos: Web of Science, Scielo, Oxford, Sage, Oxford, Sage, Google académico, Scopus, PubMed, BMC nursing, NCBI, Science Direct y ClinicalKey. Se analizaron 35 artículos que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión. Resultados: Las categorías de análisis fueron: Recursos multimedia, Recursos escritos y Recursos verbales, que describen las intervenciones educativas desarrolladas por diferentes disciplinas. Conclusiones: las intervenciones educativas son efectivas para brindar información precisa, oportuna y tranquilizadora adaptada a las particularidades quirúrgicas del paciente.spa
dc.description.abstractEducation as a fundamental part of the care plan seems to be relevant when it comes to reducing complications, by providing information and allowing the patient to self-manage their care. The nursing professional, as the main care provider, has the challenge of creating innovative tools that are adapted to the particular needs of each patient and that facilitate the understanding of the necessary content to obtain the expected results in surgical care. Objective: To describe the educational interventions used as part of perioperative care, which could be applied by nursing professionals. Methodology: Integrative review of the literature during the years 2015-2020, according to the Ganong guidelines. The DeCS keywords in English "Patients", "Perioperative Nursing", "Education" were used. 10 databases were consulted: Web of Science, Scielo, Oxford, Sage, Oxford, Sage, Academic Google, Scopus, PubMed, BMC nursing, NCBI, Science Direct and ClinicalKey. 35 articles that met the inclusion criteria were analyzed. Results: The categories of analysis were: Multimedia resources, Written resources and Verbal resources, which describe the educational interventions developed by different disciplines. Conclusions: educational interventions are effective to provide accurate, timely and reassuring information adapted to the surgical characteristics of the patient.eng
