%X In Colombia, there are countless institutions that have the titanic work of collecting money, being Sayco one of the most important. In the search to understand its operation, structure and capabilities, legal support will be sought in relation to its practical exercise, that is, to analyse the fulfilment of its functions from different perspectives. Sayco becomes the of its processes, leading to persistent nonconformities and high levels of distrust of this institution by the citizens. It is for the above that different journalistic reports, judicial decisions and regulatory sources will be included in this text to establish if Sayco covers its legal obligations and measure the effectiveness in the processes that it performs, as well as to show the impact and relevance that the scandals have had to transform its actions. This being a mostly descriptive approach.
%X En Colombia, existe un sinnúmero de instituciones que tienen la titánica labor de recolección de dineros, ubicándose Sayco como una de las más importantes. En la tarea por entender su funcionamiento, estructura y capacidades, se buscará el sustento legal en relación con su ejercicio práctico, es decir, analizar el cumplimiento de sus funciones desde diferentes perspectivas. Sayco se convierte en el epicentro de diferentes medios informativos e instancias jurídicas por la poca claridad en el desarrollo de sus procesos, desembocando en persistentes inconformidades y altos niveles de desconfianza a esta institución por parte de la ciudadanía. Es por lo anterior que se incluirán en el presente texto diferentes informes periodísticos, decisiones judiciales y fuentes normativas para establecer si Sayco abarca sus obligaciones legales y medir la eficacia en los procesos que esta realice, al igual que mostrar el impacto y relevancia que los escándalos han tenido para la transformación de su actuar. Siendo esto, una aproximación mayoritariamente descriptiva.
