%X The article provides an analysis of the political discourse of former President Alvaro Uribe Velez. The work,
focused on the study of a small sample of the discursive universe, sought to critically capture the possible hints of
mistake found in the discursive voice of the former President, as well as the collective representations of important
Colombian sectors who identify themselves with the themes, plots, actions and intentions projected in the political discourse. The speeches of the former President provided the means to identify the principles of selection and partnership that have shaped the dominant interpretive discourse, which is reflected in the neoliberal horizon gradually incorporated in the Colombian government policy.
%X El siguiente artículo desarrolla un análisis del discurso político del expresidente Álvaro Uribe Vélez. El trabajo, centrado sobre el estudio de una pequeña muestra del universo discursivo, buscó captar de manera crítica las posibles equivocidades presentes en la voz discursiva del expresidente, como también las representaciones colectivas de importantes sectores de colombianos, que se identifican con los temas, tramas, acciones e intencionalidades que se proyectan en el discurso político. Los discursos del expresidente proporcionaron los pretextos para identificar los principios de selección y asociación que han marcado la forma del discurso interpretativo dominante, que se plasma en el horizonte neoliberal, que viene incorporándose en la política gubernamental de Colombia.
